Recent studies give hypotheses on its meaning; a simple invocation of luck, or a protection from Christ (hi) for the Forinna family who probably inhabited the farmhouse in ancient times, or even a protection from Christ against an ancient (pagan) Goddess the Porrina, who centuries ago he lived in the caves of Roccaporena near Cascia, which practiced oracles and cured with herbs.
